Morven's new design had two sales last week - I knew they cute  - she's delighted!

Morven and I have competition from her sisters - it took a bit of convincing to get them started but once they got started, it was a case of who got what colour and who was having which shape!! 

They even took the photos of the cards themselves - Granny made it into the college though 🥰

These may be very unique, as I'm not sure there will be any more, but once they start earning money we have another two budding 'Alan Sugar's' on our hands

Please note they may look all cute and 'butter wouldn't melt in their mouth' in this photo, but it doesn't last 😁

A_ Z of  Card making - if you are following me on Facebook or Instagram, you will have noticed I have been running an A - Z of Cardmaking - some of the letters are much easier than others!!

The Boss has been round today, on an Idea searching for Scottish themed cards - after quite a while later, and with a lot of doodling!! - she came up with these Tartan Wearing Gnomes - who knew Gnomes were so SCOTTISH 

They sit on a tartan background, which she loved fraying - so they look quite funky!

Sorry this is just me blowing my own trumpet LOL

May seem very simple to some BUT I finally worked out how to print and cut out in one go! - the left one is wrong, and the Right one is correct - I designed the circle, added the writing, and the machine printed and cut out the rest 

Now to remember how to do it when i try again LOL

The  boss wanted to make a card for a young friend - she is really quite cute - the card and the Granddaughter!!

Morven is busy planning a new design card for this year, but I'm still waiting to see the plans!....

And we are into Crafting season again....

The Boss and I are getting ready for the first on the 22nd of March at URC for the Local Amateur Dramatic Society Coffee Morning

But I will be wearing two hats on the 29th of March at the Contraflow Coffee Morning, where I am their P/T Admin, and I will have organised this event along with running Bat Cave’s Stall.

Excuse the Sexy Hat - But I finally had my 2nd Cataract Op on Monday 24th Feb -You'll never guess which eye- The pen mark only disappeared today!!!

But at last I can see the computer screen now without lifting it up to my face, I'm so grateful I scheduled my posts for Facebook in advance..... 

But the best part is I will be back making cards again very shortly <3 AND before the boss says it, i still need to get the Website updated - it will happen!

All our cards can be used for ANY occasion, and be redesigned  - please don't just look at our Gallery of cards, and think, there isn't a card design I like - just ask, I'm sure we can come up with a personal / unique design for your recipient.

The Boss and I have realized there are a number of cards which we haven't uploaded to the website - OK so it's me, just as well she can't sack me!!

We've learnt something today: Watch YouTube tutorials before trying something crafty for the first time, as perfectly demonstrated by Grandad! Every days a school day :D

(Granny has nagged me into doing this) IT'S HERE!!!! we are having fun with our new Cricut Explore 3  :D slightly worried Granny is mentally atatched to it now!

As I write this Blog, I am desperately waiting on the delivery of my New Cricut Explore 3 - I know I'm going to be teased by my sister, who has had one for the while, and I kept saying I'm not going to weaken and get one! - I couldn't see a good reason...... Well January Sales, were an excellent reason LOL......!

So now I will be able to offer ANY design, and style of card..... well I will once it's been set up.... First of all it needs to arrive here!!!!!!!!

The 'Boss' and I will be looking at a few new ideas for Card over the next couple of weeks, do you have any suggestions? We do try to keep our card prices as low as possible, but occasionally we need to increase the cost of one or two designs as they take such a long time to 'build' xx 

Sales may be closed until the New Year. but hopefully I'll get more Blogs written.... well I can hope x

Currently we have my Niece visiting, who along with her Mum (My Sister) sell cards in Lancashire at Craft Fairs just like Bat Cave Cards  - but Sammy is going to show me how to use my Cricut Machine properly ..... so watch this space

In return, I'm to show her how to set up a printer for her Mum !!

Still not managing to get these Blogs up any quicker, it's been so busy with Craft sales / Fairs - Still two to go! - Colgrain School this Saturday, and Northwood Care home next Tuesday

lots of lovely sales off and online, which I'm almost update with LOL   - And top of this I had my first cataract op this week, so slightly handicapped at the moment.

Anyway I had the trainee Sales Assistants helping this morning - their Big Sister took over at lunchtime 😍 - that was a long day (well the morning was very long!)

Next Sale is in A Fortnight and it's the Bacon Butty Sale, as Morven calls it! - Also known as the Savoy Amateur Dramatic Society Coffee Morning  - 10am to 2pm in the Helensburgh Parish Church Hall (The Bridge)  - maybe see you there?

My Sizzix Big Shot Foldaway is one of my regularly used pieces of crafting equipment  - used to cut out hundreds, possibly thousands, of dies shapes every week - But with this amount of use my old one has had started to show signs of wear and tear  - it was a few years old! - I know it would have lasted a bit longer  but there was a special offer on 🤣 - so i got my lovely new one yesterday - The Boss approves but said it needed Bat added, so as daft as I am..... today it had them added !!

The Boss has created Bat Badge from her Mini Monster's Range........ For the Staff!

Not for retail she says at the moment!!!!!!

A few days away in the caravan, enabled us to get a start on our own Christmas Cards...... yes, i know it's still August

Yes, I know it's only August...... but the C Word came up in discussion a few weeks ago at a craft fair.... it was only just August (4th) then!!!!

No I hadn't thought about Christmas Cards then..... but the last 3weeks has been full on Christmas Card making...... I've even made my Christmas Cake and Pudding!  - Sorry 🤣

But the full range for 2024 will be going live on Sunday 1st of September on Facebook at 6pm - pop over and have a look - there is an On-line shop too - link at the top of the website pages  - other occasions available

The Boss and I supported Rosslea Hall Hotel's first Family & Community event yesterday.

Thankfully the weather did improve, though we did worry on the way that any customers would need canoes!!

The afternoon improved with Sunny Intervals, and not too many rainy showers. It was lovely meeting people from other countries - and made me think we need to bring more Scottish Themed items with us - we sold out of Kilt & Thistle Cards  along with 4 CHRISTMAS CARDS!!! (It's only August!!!) but at least we were prepared there.

Morven introduced her new creations - Morven's Mini Monsters -  more about them later in the week - they proved quite popular, and she's now creating a 'Stop Motion' film for the Blog - I'll wait with baited breathe to see what that entails???
